What is worship like?
Worship begins at 10:00 and we celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday - all are welcome to receive communion. Worship tends to follow a traditional liturgy, but it is changed throughout the year. Music is important to the life of A Mighty Fortress, so we worship God with all sorts of instruments - piano, organ, guitars, chimes, and handbells. We hope you will join us in person or virtually through our YouTube Channel through livestreamed services every Sunday at 10:00am.
What about children?
We believe that children aren’t the future of the church, but rather they are the church now. Children are unconditionally welcomed in worship, so don’t feel like you have to suppress their wiggles in God’s house - all are welcome! We do have nursery volunteers if your child would enjoy playing in there.
But I’m not Lutheran?
We welcome and encourage people of different church backgrounds to worship with us. Also, if you have little faith, a lot of faith, or even no faith, you are welcome here!
What is the typical dress?
Some people show up in typical “Sunday dress,” some people show up in jeans and a t-shirt. We want you to be comfortable in worship, so come as you are!
